Privacy policy

Zelif designs tools with its clients' data protection in mind, and this site applies the same principles. It collects only what is strictly necessary, turns on audience measurement only with your agreement, and explains here who processes your data, why and for how long, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, if you are in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

Zelif Sàrl (in formation), represented by Zerika Karim, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Contact for any question about your data: contact@zelif.ch.

Data collected and purposes

  • Diagnostic call request: the form on the Contact page sends the site your name, company, email, phone (optional), company size, availability and message. The site forwards them through Infomaniak email, in Switzerland, to contact@zelif.ch. They are not stored in a database. Purpose: to respond to your request, organise the call and, where appropriate, send you a proposal.
  • Email exchanges: messages you send to contact@zelif.ch are used to reply to you and follow up on the relationship.
  • Visiting the site: the site's hosting provider records technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page viewed, browser) in its logs, to keep the site secure and working properly.
  • Audience measurement, only if you accept it: pages viewed, device type, online identifier and approximate location. Details are in the Cookies and analytics section.

Cookies and analytics

  • Necessary cookie: cc_cookie stores your choice (accept or refuse audience measurement) for 6 months. It makes the banner work. It is not used to track you.
  • Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4 starts only if you click Accept. Cookies whose name begins with _ga are then stored. No advertising cookies are used. Fonts are hosted with the site: they send nothing to a third-party service.
  • Purpose: to see which pages are viewed. Google Analytics sends to Google Ireland Limited, and where applicable to Google LLC in the United States, the pages viewed, the device type, an online identifier and an approximate location. The IP address is not stored as-is. Advertising signals are switched off.
  • Transfer outside Switzerland: Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. For people in the European Union, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Retention: audience data is kept for 2 months at Google, the default setting of Google Analytics 4 (this period can be extended to 14 months in the property). You can withdraw your agreement at any time via the Cookies link at the bottom of each page: the audience-measurement cookies are then deleted.

Legal basis and retention periods

  • Requests and exchanges are processed on the basis of your request and Zelif's interest in responding to it. They are kept for as long as needed to reply to you and follow up on the relationship.
  • If a contract is concluded, the related documents are kept for the legal retention periods (10 years for accounting records).
  • The site's technical logs are kept by the hosting provider, Infomaniak, for the security of the site.
  • Audience measurement is based on your consent. You can withdraw it as easily as you gave it, via the Cookies link.

Processors and place of processing

  • Website hosting: Infomaniak, in Switzerland.
  • Email for contact@zelif.ch: Infomaniak, in Switzerland.
  • Audience measurement, if you accept it: Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) and Google LLC (United States).

Your data is never sold or rented. It is only disclosed to third parties where required by law.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction, deletion or transfer, withdraw your agreement to audience measurement, and object to processing, by writing to contact@zelif.ch. For audience measurement, the Cookies link at the bottom of the page is enough. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the European Union, you can also contact the data protection authority in your country.

Security

Zelif takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure.
